EDUCATION
14,000 of the poorest of children educated at primary school level, who would otherwise not have gone to school;
14,000 of the poorest of children fed two nourishing meals per day;
900 Orphan and Vulnerable Children cared for with pastoral support, school fees paid, school uniforms provided, and school meals provided;
HEALTH
300,000 patients treated free of charge at our Level III Health Centre;
2,000 babies safely delivered at our health facilities, which now includes a dedicated state-of-the art Maternity Centre;
250 Community Health Promoters trained over 12 years, who care for 11,750 people in the community providing primary health care services.
16,000 immunisations have been given saving lives from preventable infectious diseases.
CLEAN WATER
30 deep-drilled boreholes delivered in the poorest of communities in Mbale, Uganda;
Clean water provided daily to 14,000 people;
We have, for the first time, eradicated cholera in the region.
ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT
Built and operated a Design Centre which has trained 120 tailors and seamstresses.
Delivered an IT Centre for essential training skills in IT and computers to improve the economic prospects of hundreds every year.
EMERGENCY RESPONSE
Spotlight helped provide shelter, clean water and food for the 5,600 displaced by flash floods in the communities that we serve in 2022.
Spotlight delivered over 6,000 Covid vaccinations in 2021.
