Charity established

2007


First project supporting the Spotlight on Africa Primary School in Mbale, Uganda, which at that stage was in temporary accommodation.

2008


1st (out of 30) deep-water boreholes drilled.

2010


1st team of Community Health Promoters trained (which has now increased to 250 CHPs).

2011


Construction of the Spotlight on Africa Primary School to enable 1,000 poor children to go to school.

2013


Construction of Wampewo Primary School to enable 600 poor children to go to school.

2017


Construction of Level III Health Centre, which sees over 50,000 patients for free every year.

2019


Construction of Design Centre, where 120 tailors/seamstresses we have trained make their garments.

Launch of Ambulance service to ensure 24/7 care for the community of 41,000 people to either our health clinics or for referral to the Mbale Regional Referral Hospital.

2022


Construction of the Maternity Centre, which will safely deliver up to 2,500 babies ever year.

2023


Construction of new Secondary School at Namatala for 1,400 poor children.

Development of the IT Centre to provide dedicated teaching spaces for IT learning.
