First Baby Born at Health Centre

A new baby is always cause for celebration but baby Carol is particularly special as she is the first baby to be born at our Health Centre!

Inou Mary, age 30 from Masada village became the first mother to give birth at the Rees Health Centre on 2nd October, 2018. Mum and baby are doing well.

The Centre was opened just under a year ago and serves over 35,000 of the poorest people in Uganda who come from a wide area. Over the last year we have been able to help many people, saving them long journeys and providing much needed medicine and support.
